Kissaluvs Fitted Diaper Insert

by Amy

I tried a Kissaluvs fitted diaper in the newborn size. It worked well in the Prowrap diaper cover and lasted longer with the adjustable snaps, about 2 months.

It was great with the umbilical cord because of the adjustability. It gave a trimmer fit and less possibility for leaks than a prefold insert. A problem was that it seemed warm, which might be good in winter but was bad in summer.

I'm glad I had it, and would say it's good for newborns, but I'm not a fan of fitted diapers for older babies. When my baby started peeing more it would be soaked and cause wetness over more area, thus irritating more skin than a pad would.
