My AI Use Policy

I believe in being transparent about how and where I use and do not use artificial intelligence or AI in the creation of my website content.

Obviously I believe in self-sufficiency and thinking for myself. Those are my core values. But I am not opposed to using useful tools. Any tool can be used to cause good or harm depending on how it is used. The person using a tool is a key factor in making sure that it is used responsibly. 

AI cannot function well on its own. It lacks emotional intelligence and human experience. It needs a person to be involved in the process to guide its use.

I am your guide on this website. I always have been, as I've shared my experiences over the years. 

As we enter a new era, I will be experimenting with using new tools to enhance my website, but I remain the one in charge, checking every piece of content I publish here to make sure that it remains useful and connected, and most definitely written from a human perspective.

AI Tools in My Toolbox

I am still experimenting, but I may use these tools for tasks such as:

• Brainstorming ideas
• Researching information
• Designing images for marketing
• Developing plans and schedules

At this time, I use ChatGPT and the paid services provided through Tai on SBI, which has been a wonderful service in helping to guide me in building my business and websites over the years.

I have been using SBI since 2007 and honestly would be lost without them. Ken at SBI (along with Help Elf and Shelly!) has been a big help in understanding so many things including artificial intelligence.
